Structure
The WestTrans Partnership is formed of the six west London Boroughs of Brent, Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Harrow, Hillingdon and Hounslow, and activities are co-ordinated through the auspices of the West London Alliance.
Since 2011 WestTrans has had three full time employees with a remit to develop and deliver strategic transport improvement programmes in line with local and regional objectives. The team is often supported by consultancy specialists who are employed on a project by project basis.

The Transport for London (TfL) led West Sub Regional Transport Panel is one of five Panels which meets in each of the London Sub-regions on a bi-monthly basis. TfL administer the meeting with support from WestTrans and use the platform to engage with WL Stakeholders with regards to new programmes, projects, initiatives or policy (e.g. the Mayors Roads Task Force), updates on regional and national government activity, opportunities & risks, strategic priorities and dissemination of best practice.
The meeting provides key WL Stakeholders with a direct communication link to all areas of TfL via a designated WL sub regional representative. The WL TfL ambassador works to bridge the gap between local, sub regional, Londonwide and central government to help ensure the greatest possible benefit for transport provision to meet the needs of West London.
