As part of the FIRED-uP project London Fire Brigade has established two single-operator framework agreements for:
— Supply of vehicle telematics hardware and software (Lot 1)
— Supply of equipment tagging system (Lot 2)
Both frameworks relate to the provision of an innovative vehicle-based data system to enable better fleet and equipment management, reduce environmental footprint and make financial savings. The system will be piloted by London Fire Brigade on a frontline pumping appliance in the period January — May 2015. The pilot is being supported by a grant from the European Commission and updates will be posted on this site.
The framework agreements are accessible to other Fire and Rescue Services and related bodies across Europe.
