WestTrans Annual Report 2012/13
The WestTrans Partnership is pleased to announce the publication of its annual report for 2012/13.
Following on from our first year transitioning to a more streamlined partnership arrangement, we have managed to ensure that our stakeholders remain fully supported while also maintaining a strong focus on addressing core strategic transport planning objectives.
Our highlights for 2012/13 included: the development of Olympic Impact Assessments for West London to mitigate potential impacts of the Olympic & Paralympic Games.
We progressed the Strategic Corridors programme, identifying potential solutions to key issues on orbital routes in west London.
After the appointment of a Travel Plan Monitoring officer, we achieved the progression of a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation programme for development control travel plans.
WestTrans is regarded as a beacon of excellence in the delivery of new and innovative behaviour change initiatives. This is evidenced by a series of knowledge sharing events with practitioners from across the globe.
