Welcome to the WLA SWP website

The WLA Social Work Partnership (WLA SWP) consists of the West London Alliance on the Children's Social Services side and the North West London Partnership on the Adult Social Services side. The boroughs are Ealing, Tri-Borough (Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster), Harrow, Hillingdon, Hounslow and Brent. They have come together to improve Social Work standards following the Social Work Reform Board recommendations. The aim is to raise professional standards from before qualification (within educational programmes) to beyond the Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE). The WLA SWP webpage was created to support Social Workers and Managers to improve their own practice by looking at research and sharing best practice from across West London.
